Dr. Welle know's about sugar gliders to an extent, but is not willing to learn. He did not approve of me feeding the Priscilla Price Diet and had never heard of HPW. He's also not willing to call other vets and get their expert opinion (i.e. Dr. Tristan). And WANTED to wait a week before amputating a necrotic tail. Against his "better judgment" I told him I would like him to do it TODAY and he did. She's doing GREAT!!!!

bad diet recommendations, does not listen to the o

I sent one of my new owners to this vet to have the male neutered. First off they tell her that feeding Pricilla's Diet is WRONG... that they should be feeding the Taranga Zoo diet. Which cannot be effectively reproduced in the US... Then they neuter poor Malakai, send him home with horrible pain meds that don't work, rather than the Torb that we asked for. I don't recommend this vet at all for sugar gliders.

Dr. Welle was very helpful and knew exactly how to handle the gliders. He asked specific questions about their diet, environment and care and was knowledgeable about the various options. He checked all the important things for a wellness exam without me asking. The staff was very friendly and answered all questions I had. They provide a copy of the exam records for you to take home, noting anything unusual they found and any recommendations they made. They're really willing to do their best for your pets and to make you a better owner.

Dr. Ken Welle and his staff could not be more knowledgeable, dedicated, helpful and friendly. Dr. Welle takes extra time with every client to anwser questions and is always easy to reach. He has bee indespensable to our rescue and the many kinds of exotics we see here!

I've used All Creatures for my sugar gliders and was quite happy with them. I really like that they evaluate not only your pets but also how your doing as an owner.
