Would never take another pet there 1 out of 5 stars

Reviewed on: Feb 22 2015 11:50AM

I do not even remember the name of the Dr. But being this was the only place I could take my old, dying, little Bearded Dragon to have euthanized on short notice. A last minute decision to attend a weekend family reunion out of state, summer of 2012, leaving my little, old and slowly dying dragon home was not an option, so I believed it best to have him euthanized. My (then) husband took us to that place. My little guy's heart rate was so low, he couldn't really hear it and proceeded to tap his head hard with his finger, literally he was hitting him with his finger until he saw my expression, then he took on a more gentle tone. I was ready to go across that exam table and hit him on the head. I would never take another pet there. On top of that when they sent a condolence card, they misspelled his name. The only thing I was greatful for was the receptionist who was nice and knowing my baby was going to be at peace. They had to gas him, being his heart rate was so low, it took some time. They had to hold him in freezer until I got back as we had to leave 4am the next morning.

Do you treat sugar gliders or not??? 2 out of 5 stars

Listed as treating sugar gliders but they don't neuter of the routine proceedures needed for gliders. Offered me the name of a vet who does in VIRGINIA!!!!!!! If you are going to list yourself as a glider vet then be able to actually provide the services needed to raise a glider.
