The 1st visit wasn't all that bad, but after doing online research I've decided not to bring my Glider back. We visited with someone other then Shawn Ashley and she told me she keeps her gliders in a regular cage... when I told her that zinc is toxic to Gliders she told me they don't chew on it... then when I ask her about the diet (what to stay away from) she mentioned a lot of foods I saw on the avoid/do not feed list (like lettuce). In the follow up call I asked about neutering and they had to call me back, which was prompt, but disappointing to find out that they don't provide this service. I was referred to an exotic specialist who quoted me "about $200" for exam and neuter. From talking to other glider owners this service wouldn't cost nearly this much.
